4oz pour at Max’s Belgian Fest. Pours a clear orange with some cloudy head. Nose of malt, oranges, grain, whole grain bread. Flavor is sweet, malty, orange pith, bitter greens. Medium bodied, lightly tart finish.

Draft, Max’s Belgianfest. Crystal clear apple juice body, small off-white head. Aroma is medium sweet, orange, some spicy. Taste is mild sweet, straw/grapefruit. Light body, some duskiness, light acidity.

Tap. Pours clear gold with thin, fizzy white head; short retention and minimal lacing. Aroma is dough, cereal malt, pears, oranges, floral hops, light grass, and light spice. Flavor is grassy hops forward (medium bitterness) with supporting bready malts, light fruit esters, and light grapefruit; dry, lightly bitter finish. Medium body and low carbonation.

Tap at Max’s Taphouse. Pours clear amber with a small, frothy white head, short retention with no lacing. Aroma is earthy hops, apple and pear esters with straw and biscuit malt. Flavor is malt forward with light fruity esters, medium hops and bitterness with a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

On tap at Monk’s.
Appearance: Clear amber body with a thin white creamy head, good retention.
Aroma: Grassy hops, light malt sweetness, some fruit.
Taste: Light malts, slight citrus, nicely balanced.
Palate: Light to medium bodied, medium carbonation.
Overall: Forgettable, wouldn’t buy again.

Golden color with a medium sized, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of toffee, pine, spice, and toasted malts. Taste of citrus, spice, grass, and light pine, with lower bitterness.

On tap at Monks, pours a clearish golden color with small white head. Aromas of pale malt, lots of hops, belgian yeast, shampoo. Taste is white pepper, citrus hops, grass, blight belgian spice, and pine. Medium body, finish was dry and pleasantly hoppy.

On tap at the Trappist. It pours a gold color with an orange/white head. The aroma is piney with lots of dried apricots. A little bit of spicy hops. The flavor is very bitter with more apricots, pine and mild hop spice in the finish. Light bodied and packed with flavor. Very nice hoppy BPA.

Pint on tap at Moeder Lambic. Clear golden and brown white medium, airy and white head. Nose : malty bread aromas. Citrus a peppery hop notes. Sip : beer is watery in texture and with low carbonation. It is mildly sweet with, developing dry clove and zest flavor that becomes bitter abd lasting until the next sip. Very easy to drink and a perfect pint for me. Thanks a lot for this brew.

Draft at Monk’s in Philly. Pour is a nice clear golden color, with a fluffy white head. Malt is very light and slightly bready, nice hops, grass, and a touch of fruit. Light body, very easy drinking.
