Golden color with a medium sized, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of toffee, pine, spice, and toasted malts. Taste of citrus, spice, grass, and light pine, with lower bitterness.

On tap at the Trappist. It pours a gold color with an orange/white head. The aroma is piney with lots of dried apricots. A little bit of spicy hops. The flavor is very bitter with more apricots, pine and mild hop spice in the finish. Light bodied and packed with flavor. Very nice hoppy BPA.

Pint on tap at Moeder Lambic. Clear golden and brown white medium, airy and white head. Nose : malty bread aromas. Citrus a peppery hop notes. Sip : beer is watery in texture and with low carbonation. It is mildly sweet with, developing dry clove and zest flavor that becomes bitter abd lasting until the next sip. Very easy to drink and a perfect pint for me. Thanks a lot for this brew.

This might be a perfect beer. Pouring a beautiful darker gold, of course it’s unfiltered beauty in a glass. Great lacing, great head retention. Dry, hop bitterness while still being incredibly drinkable. Had one sip, I’ll be drinking this all day.

Lightly golden with a firm white head. (Monk’s, Philly) Aroma had a fair amount of hops, earthy, grassy, lightly sweet, floral, and light citrus. Medium bodied. Initially, I was a little put off by the flavor. Not sure why, but it wasn’t anything the aroma led me to think. Much more pale ale than Belgian Ale. However, as I went i really started to dig in and enjoy the beer. Herbal, floral, sweet malts, yeast spice. Dry finish. Very enjoyable.

On tap at Monk’s in Philly. Light golden in color with a small white head. A very nice hop aroma with very little malt. The flavor also is heavy on the hop side with a malty base that balances nicely. A very dry finish with a long lasting after taste

On draft at Monk’s Cafe. Poured a hazy orange but hard to tell given how god damn dark Monk’s is. Sweet, grassy nose. Light and fruity with a dry finish. Easy drinking. Nice, quite sessionable.

Draft at WLV for Zwanze Day. Pours a hazy orange/gold with a stiff and persistent white head. Nose is bright herbal hops. faint resiny qualities and soft Belgian yeast character. Classic de la Senne. Not quite Taras Bulba, but damn close. Light bodied and refreshing. Quenching firm bitterness. Really nice beer.
