On tap at Alewife during my anniversary dinner with the wife. Pours a hazy orange with gentile white lacing. Aroma is juicy of oranges with floral hops and biscuit malt. Dry and yeasty flavor up front backed by juicy orange peel, lemon peel, and grapefruit. Soft, dry finish. Damn enjoyable! So pure.

Handpull from moeder. Nice slightly copper golden beer with huge frothy head and lots of nice sticky lace. Smell is peppery sweet and vegetably. Taste is dry spicy and slightly fruity with a great thick dry mouthfeel.

On draught at Moeder Lambic (Fontainas)

Pours a hazy orange color with a medium looseish head that leaves some lacing on the glass.

The aroma has a good deal of orange rind and floral hop, a bit of raw grain, and has a light sweet character.

The flavor of the beer features almost none of the aroma promised sweetness, is strikingly, strongly bitter & very enjoyably dry. The flavor is focused around leafy hops and bitter grapefruit. The malt character is not hidden but itís certainly mellow and particularly lovely is the mild marmalade note it imparts to the beer.

This one takes the low abv high hop thing right to the edge but never falls off into overkill, like most of the De la Senne stuff Iíve had this is elegant, delicious, and highly drinkable.

Cloudy deep blond color. Good Belgian beer, mellow but with character, spicy. But it has some chicory bitterness.

Hazy amber color, with large head, and good retention. The aroma is balanced and delicate, some hop and malt. The carbonation is gone; it has a good caramel flavor with an accent of toffee; high bitterness, with just a touch of hop resins; very light Belgian character too.
The result is a crossover between a British Golden Ale (fruity) and a Belgian Ale (spicy); the elements are delicate and well blended together.
Well sessionable too.

Light amber colour, white head. Aroma of hops, citrus, light caramel and light sweet notes. Bitter flavour, sweet malty tones. Quite light body, dry bitter finish.
Nice and drinkable, good hops profile. Well made session beer.

durhambeer (2500) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - JUN 19, 2012
On draft from Spuyten Duyvil in Brooklyn. Pours a bright, deep copper orange with a foamy white head. Sort of a typical Belgian pale ale, but it nails the style just right with a nice balance of hops and yeast. Crisp, dry palate.

3/VI/2012 - on tap @ Moeder Lambic, Italian Beer Festival (2012-576)

Little cloudy orange beer, big fizzy yellow beer, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: pretty yeasty, dough, some fruits, peaches, oranges, hay, spices. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty bitter hops, spices, some citrus, tangerines, overripe fruits, lots of bitter and grassy hops. Aftertaste: dry grassy hops, very bitter dry ending.
