Pours a hazy golden yellow on tap with thick white head that leaves great lacing. Aroma is nice Belgian yeast, and lots of grassy floral notes. Taste follows, a lot more hoppy notes than I expected. Nice stuff.

On tap at Gbbf 2013. Hazy gold lasting off white head. It’s a decent light golden Belgian blond. Very hoppy distinctive and I liked it. Massive pepper hop finish. Excellent.

The idea of session beers as a whole is something that I find to be silly and limiting. That, because there exists a menagerie of beers that are full bodied, flavorful, and low abv. The category, "Session Beers," limits low abv beers, because a lot of people think that low gravity means weak bodied, watery beers. This is simply not the case. Band of Brothers is one that leads the way in proving beer lovers wrong about reasonably alcoholic beers. It is very hoppy (seemingly piny American hops), with a bready malt character, but light in the finish, quickly fading off the palate. An excellent brew that is very approachable for both beer lovers and those that are new to beer in general.
