Draft at Monkís in Philly. Pour is a nice clear golden color, with a fluffy white head. Malt is very light and slightly bready, nice hops, grass, and a touch of fruit. Light body, very easy drinking.

This might be a perfect beer. Pouring a beautiful darker gold, of course itís unfiltered beauty in a glass. Great lacing, great head retention. Dry, hop bitterness while still being incredibly drinkable. Had one sip, Iíll be drinking this all day.

Lightly golden with a firm white head. (Monkís, Philly) Aroma had a fair amount of hops, earthy, grassy, lightly sweet, floral, and light citrus. Medium bodied. Initially, I was a little put off by the flavor. Not sure why, but it wasnít anything the aroma led me to think. Much more pale ale than Belgian Ale. However, as I went i really started to dig in and enjoy the beer. Herbal, floral, sweet malts, yeast spice. Dry finish. Very enjoyable.

On tap at Monkís in Philly. Light golden in color with a small white head. A very nice hop aroma with very little malt. The flavor also is heavy on the hop side with a malty base that balances nicely. A very dry finish with a long lasting after taste

On draft at Monkís Cafe. Poured a hazy orange but hard to tell given how god damn dark Monkís is. Sweet, grassy nose. Light and fruity with a dry finish. Easy drinking. Nice, quite sessionable.

Draft at WLV for Zwanze Day. Pours a hazy orange/gold with a stiff and persistent white head. Nose is bright herbal hops. faint resiny qualities and soft Belgian yeast character. Classic de la Senne. Not quite Taras Bulba, but damn close. Light bodied and refreshing. Quenching firm bitterness. Really nice beer.

Draft on tap at Zwanze Day 2012 - West Lakeview Liquors (Chicago, IL). Pours a nicely dulled golden straw hue. Firm haziness, dulled golden glow. A frothy whitish head atop dies to a film and laces small. Aromas are gentle dryness, firm dry earthy hops, florals and grass, touch of lemon. Some gentle yeastiness, bread, but more hop driven for me. Initial is lighter body, firm dryness, lemon and florals. Grass, earthy hops hit the palate firmly. Middle is a bit bready, dough, gentle dryness. Kiss of yeast, again more hop driven. Backend shows dry florals, touches of fruit, mellow dough and straw. Dry hoppy finish lingers on, gentle fruit ester element lingers, touch of spice and yeast. Solid offering. A hoppy mellow Belgian that is quite drinkable. At 4%, itís a nice one.

Draught, Chez Moeder Lambic Fontainas, Brussels. Hazy orange looks with a generous white head. Fragrant nose with notes of yeast, hop, fruits and spice, all elements which also gathered in the flavour. Dry, bitter finish. Refreshing and very drinkable. As house beers go its a pretty darn good un.

Very light ale with nice flavor for such low abv. Floral and fruity with light basementy esters. Pleasant and drinkable.
