330 ml bottle from Birra+ (bottled on 15-05-2014). Dark copper, quite difficult to see through, with an average creamy and persistent light beige head. Big milk chocolate notes on the nose, light vanilla, some darker berries type of fruits, a hint of green coffee beans. Much more hoppy in the mouth. Lovely citrusy and herbal bitterness, pretty resinous and piney. Very mild astringency. A hint of roasted malts in the background. Average carbonation, medium body, slightly oily texture. Edit: I had no idea it was 8%, it really drinks like a 5.5/6% top beer. Solid CDA.

330 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 8%. Hazy dark brown colour, moderate off-white to beige head. Aroma of hops, chocolate, resin, coffee and woodwork. Smooth mouthfeel. Dry flavour, notes of coffee, hops and woodwork. Not extremely bitter.

fkoolen (286) - Maastricht, NETHERLANDS - SEP 3, 2014
Dark brown colour, big beige creamy head. Floral hoppy nose, citrus, grassy and some chocolate tones on the background. Taste lacks these nice hoppy tones, too watery, lightly bitter, some coffee and chocolate tones, roasted malts. Lively carbonation, dry mouthfeel, light body. As it warms it gets more fruity tones from the hops, a little tropical and grapefruit and some more sweetness from the roasted malts.

sulawang (621) - British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 31, 2014
Visual: Pours ultra dark cola brown with a large lasting super-foamy head, thick layer of retention, some lacing, tightly knit steady micro CO2 streams. Nose: sweet brown sugar caramel malts, roasted coffee and choco. (lvl-6)-pungency Attack: tingly-micro fizzy, crisp-smooth Mid-palate: medium sourness, (lvl-5)-sweetness (MAIN) dark roasted malts, caramel, brown sugar, burnt, chocolate Finish: residual dark malt sweetness, burnt bitterness, grapefruity bitter hops, lingering sour-bittersweet malty finish. Summary: A good counterbalance of sourness<->bittersweet dark roast malts, all tied together with a nice crisp body, tingly-smooth mouthfeel, and strongly hopped finish. Somewhat all over the place initially, the flavours and textures settle down after the first few sips. Better at 16°C

Theydon_Bois (8695) - The ’Sham, Surrey, ENGLAND - AUG 25, 2014
Bottle on the train to Portsmouth during the IOW jolly day, CDA rate #250 for this Bois, 24/08/14. Opaque mahogany brown with a well appointed khaki covering that dissipates then retains. Nose is light roastiness, dark berry fruits, touch of plastic, nutty, light cocoa. Taste comprises cocoa tones, dark toffee, red berry fruits, light hops, mellow fruit. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with light tropicana and hop bitterness. Adequate CDA but a fair way short of being a good one!
