Troebel goudblond bier met mooie witte schuimkraag met fijne bellen. Geur: frisse fruitige hoppige neus. Smaak: aangenaam bitter, agrum en goed in balans met wat zoetig. Goede koolzuurprikkel. Afdronk: bitterig. Leuk, meer van dit!

Hazy, orange colored, medium white frothy head, good lacing and long lasting. Aroma is of some brewing sugar, fruity, spice and Belgian yeast. Taste is medium- sweet brewing sugar, fruity, loads of spicy phenolic taste, medium+ peppery bitterness, dry finish, heavy on the Belgian yeast, light bread. Medium bodied, lively carbonation, zesty. (bottle, Bierhalle Deconinck, Vichte)

Draft at The Sovereign. Poured a mostly clear yellow color with a fluffy white head atop it. Aroma was light straw/hay, touch of light pepper. Flavor was very pleasant hop notes. Light citrus. Nice.

Pours gold with a large lasting head. Nose shows grassy hops and grainy malt. Little else. Some faint cardboard notes. Flavours include more of the same: cardboard, metallic notes, grassy and spicy hops.

330mL bottle from International Beer Collector. 2014 vintage BB05/02/16 Hazy pale gold body, holds a rather attractive, well-sized creamy white head throughout. Interesting nose to it - bread crust & dough, white pepper, zesty lemon rind, touch of grass (hop?), floral undertones, pear esters. Surprisingly thick creamy body, rather sweet upfront but dries out, touch of acidity in the works too. Once again, there’s some intrigue to the flavours going on here - dough, leafy spices, cloves & pepper, citrus rind with an accompanying bitter note, sour grapes, green wood, slight earthiness lingers on the finish, slightly astringent like chewing on a bit of wood. Not sure what to think about it; oddly drinkable, slight bit wild, rustic, but i’m alright with that.

Corpo medio-leggero, ben carbonata, molto beverina.

Pour is golden in color, clear, and white head with good retention. Nose has a heavy malt and candied sugar aroma, notes of oxidation and stale caramel. Flavor follows suit, a bit oxidized and probably past its prime. Assertive sweet malt, older caramel, hints of sugar. Soft body, nicely carbonated, feel is still holding up.
