13th July 2014
Hazy gold beer, decent pale cream colour head. Palate is light, dry and crisp. Light dry malts, semi sweet. Bretty grapefruit and grapefruit pith. Floral dry yeast. Little sweeter fruits underneath. Very dry finish. Bitter linger. Bit too dry but tasty.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle at Booze n Blues in Brussels, served in a De La Senne glass. Cloudy yellow-orange with a creamy foam head, gassy. Smooth, a touch zesty. The aroma is likewise of zesty hops with a hint of smoke (but that might just be the venue!). Very dry, overall perfectly pleasant.

%. Complimenten.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottled from de Molen Beershop, 2013 version dated 14/01/14 BB 14/01/15, large sample, served in a trappist glass. Pours an almost clear golden colored beer with a huge off-white rocky head, with quite big bubbles. Aroma of fresh (although already several months old) grassy hops, slight spicy yeast, lovely noble hops. Medium bitter in taste, bit chalkiness, quite dry. Quite high in carbonation, light bodied. Great beer combining the perfumy noble hops from say Christoffel Blond and Gulpener Ur-Hop with the dry soft spicy belgian blonde style. Wonderful stuff.

Tap. Pours hazy golden with an average, white head. Aroma of yeast, orange, citrus peel and spicy notes. Sweet flavor that ends up more dry and slightly bitter. Medium bodied, oily texture and average carb. A nice Belgian.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle at Bar volo. Peachy golden, very drinkable stuff as smelled dry hopped, and hop oils in finish offset any yeast dominated characteristics.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours golden yellow, with a froth white head. Very grassy. floral aromas, along with yeast. Taste is defined by a juicy, grassy hop freshness, washing over pleasant, dough yeast. Among a coppery carbonation, peppery hints shine out, adding a gentle complexity to the beer. Hops hit the palate in a straight forward, bitter way, from the very beginning. Bitterness gets a subtle dryness as it comes to the finish, still refreshing during the aftertaste. It is throughout gentle on the palate, hops don’t interfere with the overall balance of the beer, enabled by yeast, straw and toasty, soft malts.
