Bottle 330ml (Saveur)
Hazy yellow color, small steady white head, some lace. Aroma was at first very funky, but then it was more like zest and tropical fruityness. Medium-bodied. Tropical fruits, overriped mango, grass, funkyness. Citrus in the finish. Interesting.

This bottle is way past its best by date, which explains why I got it for next to nothing - I went back and forth or whether or not to rate it, but it’s actually in pretty amazing shape, so I don’t see the harm (that and I still see bottles in quite a few local stores, so this will at least reflect what is still commercially available near me) - pours a turbid straw with a thick, fluffy head - hops in the nose and flavor are still surprisingly fresh, zesty, peppery, citric, with some notes of mango, light mustiness and musk, candied oranges - typical lovely de la senne texture - flavor much like the nose - zesty and spicy hop character, grapefruit, tropical character - some moderate phenolics and slight, bright estery character - great beer, even with the age on it - in fact, I imagine it may have been too bitter for me fresh, as the bitterness is still quite potent.
