Bottle at home. One year old bottle. Has a slightly hazy straw yellow-orange color with a beige head. Fresh aroma of grass, dry hay, sweet corn and citrus. More citrus in the flavour along with Belgian yeast, grassy hops and wet hay. Has a slick mouth feel, medium body and a medium bitterness. A fresh and fruity ale with a hoppy touch. I guess the hops have faded a little bit with the aging.

Pale yellow colour. High white head. Sourness, hints of vinegar, hints of raw gooseberries, hints of caramel in the aroma. Sour beginning. Hints of gooseberries in the middle. Hints of caramel in the end. Berries in the aftertaste. Medium bodied. Medium carbonated. Quite refreshing, interesting blend of classical taste of abbey tripel and sour beer.

Lichtgeel bier, moutig van geur, smaak is moutig met wat citrus en een beetje kruidig. Niet bijzonder maar drinkt lekker weg.

Appearance: cloudy pale straw with two fingers of fluffy eggshell head, excellent retention and good lacing. (4/5) Aroma: dry dusty citrus, bready yeast, white pepper, earth. (8/10) Taste: moderate-low sweet, moderate-strong bitter. (8/10) Palate: medium-light body, moderate carbonation, dry medium duration mild bitter finish. (4/5) Well that’s a bit of all right. Dry and bitter, with just enough mild sweetness to keep it from being unbalanced. Sort of reminds me of their Taras Boulba, but drier and not tart. Refreshing and more-ish, with absolutely no indication of the relatively high ABV. (16/20)

Bottle courtesy of the Craft Room guys - thanks! Poured a murky golden-orange body. Dusty, slightly sourish orangey aroma. Taste... slightly emptyis slightly creamy taste, light spices, herbal bitter aftertaste, light orange. Soft. Good really, very well hidden ABV. Another job well done from De La Senne!

Bottle. Hazy golden with a medium sized white head with good retention and lace. Nose has chalk, lemon, citrus, herbs, green plants. Flavour follows and things come well together. Minerals, citrus, dry flowers, chalk, dried geen plants, grain. Medium body, oily texture, fine carbonation, some sweetness balanced by bitterness, warming alcohol. Not bad, slightly hot on the alcohol, otherwise very Senne, balanced and soft.
