Not very triple like....and that’s ok. Its a tasty beer. Hoppy with Belgian yeast flavours and aromas. Well balanced. Very nice.

Cloudy yellow colour, huge white head. Yeasty and hoppy aroma with sweet malt. Flavour of sweet malt, buscuit then comes a good bitterness. Liquorice is present as well. Long finish, starts sweet then floral hops and finaly dry bitterness. Medium body and carbo. A different interpretation of the triple style. Still, rules aside it's a good beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottled. Pours hazy golden with a large, lacing, fluffy off-white head. Aroma of yeast, hay, caramel and spices. Sweet flavor that ends up dry and slightly bitter. Medium bodied, oily texture and average carbonation. A very nice and quite hoppy Triple.

tfredvik (1431) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUL 5, 2015
Cloudy medium golden to orange body with a large, creamy, off-white, very long-lived head that laces the glass well. Strong aroma of Belgian yeast, pale malts, spices and light fruits (especially apples and pears) and a floral background. Strong flavour of Belgian yeast, spices, fruits, lemon, honey, alcohol and flowers in the back. Moderate to light sweet taste, with a moderate bitter (and that’s pretty bitter for a tripel!), fairly long-lived and quite dry finish. Close to full body, syrupy texture and lively carbonation. A very nice one, if you find the average tripel too little bitter.

Pours a hazy straw-gold into the glass with an initial wispy head that leaves light ring lace. The nose contains lots of grains and some mild esters. Flavors follow suit, with yeasty melon esters followed by a grainy hop bitter close. The mouthfeel is semi-active with a light body and lingering earthiness. Well more suited as a farmhouse/saison than a tripel, it’s not bad, but for the style listed, it just doesn’t pull together as a top-tier Belgian Tripel should, with too much focus on the earthy grains and hop backing. A decent rating, and something I would have again, but just on occasion.

Sun yellow opalescent with a fluffy white head. Aromas of banana, hay, resinous hop spice develop. Light carbonation, lightly slick with a medium body. A bit sweet with a noticeable bitterness building up, alcohol aromatic. Medium lasting finish.
