Bottle 33cl from brasserie de la Senne, @ home. You can feel the caracteristic yeast from de la senne, as well as the usual bitterness, but also a sweeter taste that makes it more accessible (and more dangerous as you don’t feel the 8% abv!). Nice tripel.

On tap @Bierhuyske. Pours cloudy yellow with creamy white head. Malty, citrus aroma. Taste is also malty, bit citrus, dry. Medium mouthfeel. Dry and bitter finish.

Pours light yellow with very nice head. Aroma: white fruit coupled with herbs. Taste: very smooth and easy drinkable, alcohol very well hidden. A good beer, but not sure I would call it a tripel.

Continuing through the De La Senne tasting. Hazy orange-gold with a lasting white head. Almost a cherry/Halls aroma and flavor to it. A bit strange. Slight harshness on the palate and too bitter, I think, for this beer.

Bottle. Almost clear light golden body with a medium head. Mild aroma with Belgian yeast, some honey-like sweetness and bitter herbal hops. Thin mouthfeel with earthy/minerally bitterness and some honey-like sweetness. No spiciness that makes a Tripel good. Finish is more bitter than an average Tripel (try to say the last sentence really fast!). Just because you overloaded it with hops doesn’t automatically make it good.
