Clear golden orange pour with a shining white head and lots of lacing. Fruity estery nose. Nicely Balanced with a Smooth light body. Clean. So much milder and less sweet than most trippels. Well done!

330 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 8%. 18.30 degrees P. Cloudy pale golden colour, moderate white head. Strong aroma of spicy Belgian ale yeast, peppery and some fruity notes. Peppery and hoppy flavour (49 IBU), not too sweet, not too dry - well balanced. Very good - a beer I’ll have again.

Shared a 33cl bottle. Pours a hazy orange colour with a thin white head. Yeast, coriander, honey and citrus in the aroma. Average carbonation and medium body. Taste is more bitter than sweet, what is not very normal in Tripels. Overall, a very food beer that made me change my opinion about tripels.

Pours a golden orange unclear beer with a good white head. Smells yeast, standard belgian ale. Meh. Tastes malts, and very standard. Sweet. Average carbo, medium body and a sticky texture.

Alewife, Queens tap: Pours darker than your average tripel with a white head. Aroma is fruits, honey, dirt, and some yeast. While this is more bitter than your average Belgian tripel, by American standards, not so much. What stood out most for me from this beer was the malty finish. Overall, this beer didn’t strike me as much of a tripel, but more like a BSA.

Translucent golden hued orange with a massive puffy white head that leaves globs of lace as it slowly fades. The aroma has a distinct basement note that mingles well with overtones of bubblegum Belgian ale yeast and European pilsner malt sulfur. Presence of alcohol is increasing with temperature. The flavour has above average sweetness while staying lean enough to have a mature, airy, medium-full palate. Bottle conditioning is absolutely evident. True to style phenolic presence, an airy mouthfeel, flawless appearance and a long, fruity finish make this a memorable one.

Straw-yellow color, with a decent head. Aromas of citrus peel and floral hops, mixed up with yeast and spicy straw. Begins with dough yeast, which gets spiced up by cloves, pepper and chili. The high carbonation brings a subtle metallic note among floral, slightly bitter hops on the palate. Lime gets blended with straw and wheat, heatens up, the longer it stays on the palate, as the spices turn more dominant. This also warms the belly in a comfortable way. During the finish, for a short glance toffeeish, bready malts become detectable, which then get wrapped up by earthy, warming wheat and slick yeast, paired with a flimsy hop bitterness. The spices seem to fit in at every stage, and therefore define the beer somehow, as they are the only ingredient which is noticable from the beginning till the end, in a complex, well-balanced Tripel.

Hoppy tripel with notes of citrus, medium bitterness in finish. Doesn’t have the heavy alcohol notes frequent in the style, so I like it quite a bit.
