On tap at Moeder Fontainas. This is a very pale yellow beer. I’d say it’s more of a hoppy Duvel style than a traditional abbey tripel, with a spicy yeastiness, perfumy aroma and long bitter finish. Slightly absurdly I was disappointed, drinking it straight after Zinnebir my expectations maybe got ahead of me - these De La Senne beers are excellent. On a side note, they do cool labels on bottles too!

Bottle: yellow color, white head. Sourly, hoppy aroma, yeast, bitter hops. Flavor is sourly sweet with candy and yeast notes, bitter hops, light herbal, some fruitiness. That’s not really my cup of tea.

Easter tasting @Igor’s place. 0.33 bottle bought at Vrutak, Zagreb. Murky yellow-orange brownish with light white head and some sediment. Weak aroma, but nice, some acidity in the nose. Acidic bitterness, wine-like, alcohol in the finish, a warming and strong beer. Good tripel.

Bottle, BBE 14/08/15. Pours a hale yellow with a classy, large, white head. Aroma is very grainy, some flower. Taste is fairly dry, light sweetness in the background. Very grainy, a lot of pale maltiness, some dried fruit and floral tones. Some apricot/peach in the background.

Light amber hazy with medium bit creamy off-white head. Sweer and fruity sour on the tongue tip followed by good bitterness, which satys for long, defnite citrusy notes. Easy drinkable a nd refreshing.

Difficult to develop something, this is simply a beer. Easely drinkable, but nothing remarkable.

A rather bitter tripel with an aroma of yeast, hops and alcohol. But it’s overall the alcohol and bitterness wich overrules.

Pours slightly hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, yeast, fruitiness, alcohol and hint of citrus. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with a long warm, yeasty and fruity finish. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Hazy golden, airy and rocky white head. Fruity, malty and hoppy aroma, rather light. Flavour is fruity, spicy and sweet. Strong malt and clear hops. Fluffy mouthfeel, nice.
