4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Herbal aroma, some pepper, fruit. As you’d expect from these hop loving brewers, this is remarkably bitter for a tripel, but remains very drinkable. Bonus points for the beer’s theme and description.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Visual: Ultra cool label. Pours cloudy marmalade orange with a large long-lasting super foamy head, clustered sticky lacing, lots of activity, lots of sediment in the bottle.
Nose: sweet citrus/grainy barley malt, traces of puke (lvl-4)-pungency
Attack: ultra crisp, creamy/sharp fizzy
Mid-palate: creamy mouthfeel, (lvl-7)-sweetness, medium tangy, (MAIN) honeyed malts, lager-like barley, tangerine, bittersweet grapefruit
Finish: persistent hopped bitterness, alcohol bitterness, barley malt finish.
Summary: Very appealing visually and super smooth texturally, hiding the ABV very well. Quite a bitter triple, as advertised.
