I had been looking for this beer for awhile and finally came across a bottle at Poechenellekelder in Brussels. The beer was served in nice Brasserie De La Senne tulip style glasses. The beer poured a clear bright yellow color with a massively thick white head with some fluffy white bubbles. The nose had some strong hoppy notes and a decent malt tone in the aroma as well. The taste was a good touch of citrus combined with a good malt backbone. The taste also provides a nice hope bite on the tongue and a lasting after effect. There is also a sweet touch to the beer that rounds this out very nicely. Another fine beer from De La Senne that I hope to see more of in the future.

A tripel blond beer with copper reflexion and a big white head. Smell: great complexity with hop and yeast. Taste: good surprise, hops and orange. Aftertaste : hops.

Bottle 355 ml. Pours hazy golden with a small white head. Some lacing. Sweet aroma of belgian yeast, malt, honey and banana. Sweet taste at beginning with a strong bitter end. Malt, herbal/floral notes, and fruits are present in taste. Lively carbonation. Medium duration of aftertaste. Warming alcohol. Medium body. Mouthfeel start creamy but end dry. Nice complexity but balance could be better. Not exactly what I expect from a Tripel, but it’s a good beer. Share many characteristics with Saison type of beer.

En oljig kombination av saison, tripel och IPA. En tydlig beska, IPA karaktären tar över lite för mycket men väldigt bra i det stora hela.

Pours clear pale yellow color with small head. Aroma of lemon, spices, yeast, floral hops and grass. Flavor of grass, lemon, spices, herbal notes and yeast. Very refreshing brew.

Aroma is rather light with wheat and citrus. Flavour has lots of grassy hops, some citrus. Dry finish with hops. Nice and refreshing, lacks the soapy citrus tripels usually have.

Pours a hazy and golden beer with a white head. The aroma is malt, fruit, yeast, sweetness, spices, coriander and notes of alcohol. The flavor follows the nose. The palate is sweetness. Overall a good beer.

Pours yellow with a large white head. Aroma is malt, fruity yeast and light alcohol. Flavour is malt, alcohol and fruity yeast.

Schiuma persistente. Aroma di agrumi, geranio, malto e luppoli erbacei. Al gusto sentori di spezie e pepe, con un grande amaro da luppoli freschi

Bottle at ZBF’12, Leuven: Hazy orange coloured brew with an taste of grapefruit, citrus wich give the beer pretty bitter taste. And this Dutchman survived the degustation barely.
