Bottle at Sean and Rushes, Leicester. Pours cloudy yellow, with a ring of froth. Smells beautiful: lemon, wheat, Belgo yeastiness. Taste is beautifully dry; packed with lemon, which squelches; pockets of pin-prick sweetness. Beautiful mouthfeel. A delightful beer. Really tremendous.

Dense, goldenrod pour has a silvery sheen to it. The aroma is packed with fresh fruits, spices, and flowers, all golden and brown; pear, golden kiwi, dry grass, cardamom.

The freshness of this is confounding, and the interplay of the yeast with the vibrant hops and the doughy malt is a thing to behold. The rounded thickness of the body is impressive, if not as much as how wistfully dry and airy it remains at the same time.

The idea of the incredibly fresh Belgian tripel was a revelation for me, and it’s incredibly bittersweet to know how rare of an experience that will be.

Little cloudy orange beer, huge white creamy head, adhesive with nice lacing. Pretty stable. Aroma: very hoppy, citrus, herbal, alcohol. MF: good carbon, full body. Taste: sweet malts, candi sugar, some honey, citrus fruits, bitter hops. Aftertaste: pretty dry and citric ending. Alcohol noticeable.

Bottle @ home picked up at Supermarket Liquor after class. This is a grate fucken brew. Petes grate. Murky orange appearance with a lasting, spidery off white head. Some bubblegum / cotton candy notes in the aroma with some herbal hops. Medium plus body. Juicy (tropical fruits, mango, pineapple) and candy flavor but actually fairly hoppy. Well balanced. Some grassy notes but honestly an explosion of juicy fruits. Chill fucken rew. Probably a grate beer for beer pong and/or beer bong.

Cloudy blond color with huge compact head. The aroma is spicy and a bit fruity. Good malt flavor, it has the moderate and perfect contribution of spice and fruit; the final is quite bitter, with some Belgian character.
Excellent beer, Belgian character with modern freshness touch.

Beautiful color, hazy golden, with a generous head. Perfumy aroma, German hops, light honey, cereals. Dry toffee, malt and cereals flavor, with a dash of cookies, and a strong bitterness, ending with good hop oils and attenuated hop resins; lightly fruity and sweet later. Powerful but well constructed; very good.

From tap at Moeder Lambic, Brussels. Orange with white head. Hazy. Nose : fruity citrus with caramel malts. Some little cherry esters. Sip : Creamy and oily but not dense. Carbonation is fine and typical for a strong, pale brew from tap. Starts sweet , with fruity and caramel notes. Ends with a layer of bitter hops, grapefruit like. The layer doesn’t kill the sweetness but balance it well. Nice. One of the best trippel for this simple reason that is bitter. Finally.

Belle apparence.
