Tap. Thin white head, hazy darker lemon yellow. Light sweetness, some weird plastic notes in the aroma as well, alchohol comes in as well. Flavor is better, drier and devoid of the plastic, some medicinal notes, floral hops, and just OK. Lighter body with bubbly carbonation. I quit drinking tripels.

Belgian candi sugar is most noticeable from first whiff... Other aromas and flavors of dried fruit, banana, orange citrus and spice. Concentrated flavors.. Mainly dominated by candi sugar. Medium-plus bodied.. Medium carbonation... Belgian candi sugar sweetness.. Balanced bitterness kicks in on the finish... And lingers with subtlety. Solid, though not my favorite style... So hard for me to define... --- tasted while on a long journey to understand the world around me...

11.2 oz. Bottle from Winooski Bevarage Warehouse for a pri e of $4.04. Slow pour to leave condition yeast on the bottom of bottle. Aroma of dried fruit and musty Belgian yeast. Rock candy, sugar and a light hop to add just a touch of bitterness. Finish is mostly sweet with just a tad of bitterness. This is a balanced brew. Carbonation gives a effervescent tingle. If you like the style this should not disappoint. Worth a try for sure.

On tap @Lúpulo Feroz, Oviedo. Grassy, some subtle tart aromas. Pours a bit hazy, golden, with vanishing white head. Medium body, crispy texture, average carbonation. Taste is herbal, yeasty, some citrusy, balanced and enyojable.
