11.2 fl oz bottle purchased at Louisville Beer Store. The pour is a hazed orange golden with a 3 inch loose light tan head. The aroma is caramel malt, lightly toasted and a citrus apricot behind. There is also a bit of mineral and a hint of yeast in the back. The taste is bitter citrus peel up front followed by the toasted malt behind. The bitter mineral earth carries finish. The palate is light to medium bodied with low carbonation and dry earth bitter mineral finish. No bottle date, this may have been a bit past it.

On bottle from Beershop.be. Golden color, good foam. Good fruity aromas, distinct, but integrated hops: medium intensity- some good yeast influence. Medium body & complexity. Good bitterness, well balanced. Very enjoyable

bottle from El Marko, orange pour, fluffy, pillowy head. Caramel malty heavy aroma, orange zest notes. sweet flavor, aged bitterness perhaps. Orange led citrus, lots of caramel malts. Fuller mouthfeel. Like this better than most malt forward IPA’s that ive encountered

33 cl bottle @ home. Clear amber color. Big, dense off white head with good retention & lacing. Aroma’s: herbal hoppiness, some malt-sweetness, yeast with some fruit retronasal, a little (hop-)acidity. Flavor is medium bitter and medium sweet. Body is medium. Finishes slightly dry, herbal and medium bitter. Nice beer, but IPA? Perhaps it was on the shelves too long?

Caramel notes in the aroma from a bottle pour. Squashed plums, yeastiness of a saison character. Sludgy looking thanks to the bottle fermentation. Small white head with decent lacing Lovely, smooth peppery taste with a bitter orange effect too. Smooth on the palate with a good aftertaste. Would go great with a blue cheese, I think. Not very hoppy for a beer that is called an IPA but a lot happening with the saison-esque characters. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Ipa dall’amaro non entusiasmante ma molto saporita, di frutta, agrumi, malto caramellato, con una sfumatura citrica piacevole nel finale. De la senne sa sempre il fatto suo!!
