0.33 l bottle from K-Citymarket Ruoholahti, Helsinki. Red brown colour, almost no head. Well, this is dry stout. I would have preferred a sweetish stout. Quite OK in its style.

Can’t believe I never rated this. A great excuse to drink again! Lovely looks, huge head. Soft roast, but dry as it should. Nuts and still fresh. Great sift carbonation. Great toasty taste too, good stuff. Lots of flavour for the abv (very moderate for a Belgian). Love it. As I knew. (33cl bottle at Piechenellekelder)

Pours black with a medium tan head. Aromas of chocolate, roasted malt, brown sugar, roasted nuts. Taste is a very nice balance between roasted malts and chocolate bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation.

Decent stout, with a sweet, biscuity, syrupy malt aroma. It poured nicely with a standard size head of an attractive light brown colour. The beer itself was black and totally opaque until held up to the light. The lacing on the glass was good, and the head stayed square on the beer until near the end of the glass. At first, it has a bitter toastiness to the flavour, but this yields to a slightly sweet finish afterwards. Also notable was an "oystery" flavour throughout - in fact I imagine it would be a great accompaniment to seafood. In the mouth it had a medium body - quite light for a stout - and was quite dry.
