aroma, some bitter dark fruits, yeasty nose, light chocolate malts.
flavors have the distinct Belgian stout approach keeping a nice yeasty profile that is not overdone.
Lots of good roasted malts, coffee, dry and grainy mouthfeel, hints of biscuits with a mild bitter chocolate finish.
Light abv and a beer full of flavors.

Cloudy, deep brown appearance with a small beige head and good lacing. Roasted, caramel malt aroma intertwined with coffee. Taste is earthy, peaty, bittersweet. Moderately carbonated; palate is a little thin. Dry, bitter, lingering finish.

330mL bottle. Pours a slightly thin black with a big, light tan head. Aroma is roasty with some sweet chocolate and a bit of lactose. Taste is dry with some coffee, bitter roast, licorice, and a bit of clove, but remains light and quaffable. Finish is mildly bitter with some chocolate and roast.

Very dark brown, close to black coloured. Good looking lightly beige big head that holds nice. Burned-sour smell. Less goed then "equinox", wich seems to have a more balanced taste. Watery first nip, that turns into burned coffee and spices mix. More bitter aftertaste. A bitter aftertaste that holds a long time. Drinkeable, but many better beers around.

On tap at Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Black with beige head. Aroma is full of lightly roasted coffee and dark chocolate, but in an elegant rather than heavy way. Also a hint of dark fruits in the background. There is a slight acidity from the roasted malts, and they seem to be responsible for the bitter aftertaste too. Medium carbonation, medium body. A very nice stout!

Murky dark brown opaque, but thin pour with a nice light tan head. Very bubbly. Aroma is bursting with chocolate. Very, very dry, not the slightest bit of sugar. Roast and chocolate aroma with a strong bitter finish. Very good stout and 4.5% goes does really smoothly.

Dark brown, light tan head. Weird thin roasty and metallic aroma. Taste is coffee, roasty, chocolate, estery but way way too thin.

Pours a nice deep dark brown(almost black) color. Aromas of chocolate, smoke, and some sweetness. Flavor is dark chocolate, a touch of berry, and smokey. Creamy with a dry finish and a bittersweet aftertaste.

12 oz bottle. Pours a clear black body with a large frothy and foamy light brown head that left tons of lacing. Roasty fruity Belgian Stout nose with lots of yeast character. Lots of nice dark chocolate and cocoa powder. The flavor is really quite nice for a style that I ususally don’t care for. The roast and cocoa notes outshine the yeastiness that’s usually what turns me off of this style. Just slightly sweet and very chocolaty, finishing with a light earthiness. Medium bodied with a nice smooth easy drinking texture and soft carbonation. This was a really pleasant surprise. I will buy this again.

A clear dark brown stout with a thick big bubbled brown head. In aroma, herbaceous chocolate with notes of catnip, metallic points. In mouth, a strong bitter chocolate with roasted malts, astringent notes, like burned carbon. Surprisingly rich given the strenght. Bieropholie import.
