33cl bottle, Geers. Pours black with a tan head. Dense head, good retention. Nose of munich malts, biscuit & coffee. Hopbitterness rather than roasted bitterness, non aromatic hopping. A session stout example.

Bottle. Dark lighting, but from what I could tell pours black with a thin light brown head. Lots of roasted malt and tobacco on the nose, dry mouthfeel with notes of roasted malts, bittersweet chocolate, and some sourness. Light hop character to help round it out. Overall, felt it was a bit watery and not quite what I look for in a stout, but still enjoyable.

33 cl bottle @ home, BBE 07/2013
Aroma has hay, toffee, some oat and slight sour notes. Flavour is sourish with some oat. Finishes tart with some lemony and earthy notes. A stout in Belgian way – even more sour than I expected.
