Very dark brown with a brown, bubbly, fast disappearing head. Aroma of linen and pepper, some sweetness intruding. Sweet, ashy, coffee taste, medium bodied. Pleasant late bitterness. Not really my favourite De La Senne.

RexTalionis (2117) - FINLAND - OCT 10, 2013
Bottle 33 cl. Pours dark brown in color with a tan head. Roasted coffee, dark chocolate and some smokey wooden notes in aroma. Roasted notes are present flavorwise, but which really sticks out here is the quite dry and bitter taste, some chocolate and some salty licorice notes in taste as well. This was actually quit an enjoyable stout by this brewery.

Pours a pitch black beer with a good creamy tan head. Smells malts and fruity. Tastes great. I thought this is a stout but its more like a black ipa. Fruiry, coffee with a good bitter finish. Average carbo, medium body and a dry texture. Good one.

28.05.13 bottle from Brussels. Pours like a Coke but with a foamier, brown head. Aroma is light chocolate and coffee with dark malt. The flavor almost reminds me of a dry stout with a lighter mouthfeel. A little sweetness in the finish. Good.

McWorta (477) - LUXEMBOURG - SEP 13, 2013
Black dark ruby red colour with a tan lasting smooth classic stout head. On the nose roasted malt aromas are predominant but you can also note burnt toffee and faint dry leather and some earth aromas. A bit lively on the palate with a light slick texture which could be a bit bolder. Medium to full bodied with bitter notes fulfilling the roasted malt aroma programme. The finish leaves some bitter a bit harsh dryness on the palate which is coherent with the afore mentioned. Last medium wise on the palate.

God duft av kaffe, lakris og rykt. Fin nesten sort farge. Tynt lag skum. God smak av sjokolade og kaffe med en rykt ettersmak.

On Tao@ moeder lambic. Dark brown/ black pour, med- lge head. Smells..dark fruits, caramel malts and coffee, some hops and spice too. Tastes..coffee and chocolate malts, towards some spice and fruit elements and a almost bitter hops ending. Real nice.
