Bottle. Clear dark black color with a large, frothy to light creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, coffee, mocca, light to moderate yeasty. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter (coffee bitter) with a average to long duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. (170208)

Bottled. A pitch black beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet and very roasted combined with notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet combined with a light acidity from the hard roasted malt, leading to a dry bitter and lightly chocolaty end.

33 cL bottle, thanks to brewfiend. Pours dark brown with a huge light brown head. Slight spiced roasted malt aroma. Has some yeasty and liqourice notes too. Smoked dark roated flavour into the finish. Ends bitter hoppy and burned malty. Nice. Lacks some body to be really great.

(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Hazy, dark brown with a tall and lively, beige head leaving some laces. Weak, burned nose. Fairly light in body with burned malt accents and a surprisingly - for Belgium - malt astringent finish. 051007

Bottled. Pitch black colour with small brown head. Sweet caramel in aroma along with some roasted malts. Flavour is roast, malts, some acidicness and a bit chocolate. A nice Belgianmade stout.

[Bottled at GBBF Babblefest, White Horse London] Cloudy dark brown. Coffee aroma. Sweetish with rounded mouthfeel and notes of molassess, tobacco and caramel. Medium bodied with lightly tarry finish.

Draught at ZBF 2008. Cloudy brown coloured with a beige head. Roasted aroma of caramel and grain with notes of coffee. Roasted flavour pf cpffee and lquorice with notes of hops. Roasted finish.

Draught @ Akkurat, Stockholm. Pours a black color with a tan head. Roasted malty aroma with some chocolate hints. Sweet roasted malty flavor. Sweetish roasted finish with a slightly bitter aftertaste.

33cl @ VinensVerden, Odense. Nearly black with a creamy head. Roasted malts, coffee mainly, With a vague hint of dark fruits. Medium bodied. Very drinkable & well made stout! Fine bitterness in the end!

Bottle, 4.5% at KØ07. Good hop aroma. Dark brown colour, very small light brown head. Fruity and roasted flavour. Semi-thick mouthfeel. Very good for ABV.
