3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a clear pale yellow color, topped with a very hefty white foamy head. Medium retention, lots of carbonation and quite some sediments in the bottle. Mild fruity aroma at first, followed by decent grassy hops - refreshing feel to it. Taste is mildly bitter and grassy from the start, gradually increasing bitterness but still very moderate. A bit metallic in the aftertaste, but not bad.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Keg at Moeder Lambic in Brussels. Pours cloudy Gold with a thick White head. Aroma of citrus. Lemon, grapefruit. Very hoppy with a light Belgian character. Coriander and White pepper. Big bitterness to finish. Hoppy and bitter seems to be De La Senne’s mission statement. Very nice.

33cl bottle at bar Marnix Café, Brussels. This extra hoppy ale is beautifully lemon-yellow coloured with great white foam. The strong hop flavours are so powerful and overwhelming, yet oh so lovely. The bitterness in the taste is full and strong too, but this beer stays refreshing through its citrus, lemon, zeste and mild sugarness. A lovely, low-alcohol Belgian ale.
