CharlesDarwin (1442), State College, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 6, 2008 33cl Bottle. Really dry, grassy hops over pils malt. Tangy, metallic and with some acid. Grassy and fresh. Pours a brilliant, deep golden, with a tall ragingly frothy head in crisp, creamy white. Effervescent. Flavor is subtle. A dense, rich wheat sugar comes out with some banana, papaya and almonds. Grassy, fresh and super-dry. Hops come as grass and plant oils, fresh and bright, not too bitter. Gives a good rounded edge to the mature, complex pale malt base. Finishes on a bright, juicy hop edge. This is delightfully balanced, real and drinkable. This has an astonishing amount of really well-built flavor for this alcohol level.

a hazy yellow colour with no head. The aroma is hoppy and also smells of yeast.
The flavour acidious, but also taste of hops and alcohol. It has a very short
aftertaste.
