75 cl bottle @ Olutravintola Pikkulintu. Rated on 4.12.2010
Aroma is a bit odd and stale with some tart sourness, earthy notes and hints of citrus. Flavour is nice, refreshing and rather sour with earthy notes, some citron and cranberries. A successful blend.

Bottle shared at a recent tasting generously hosted by hannont... Poured golden with a moderate head. Lots of lactic and tart notes with wood and funk. Musky, earthy, lots of yeast spice and even a hint of hops. Wine/Champagne-like fruits and dryness. Tart finish.

Bottle at Moeder Lambic Fontainas. My farewell to Belgium for a while beer. Pale orange colour, slightly hazy, massive white shiny bubbly head. Aroma is a fruit bowl, lots of citrus, grapefruit, white wine, bit of funk, bit sour cream, something herbal, and some woody mustiness. Taste is beautiful, fruity and sour, flatly creamy with something herbal, bit vinous. Increasingly sour and tart but mellows towards the end. Quite spritzy in the mouth and texture seems to be at the same time soft and spiky. Lovely beer!

75cl bottle @ Moeder Lambic (17/02/2012), shared with ajax25g for my pre-bday beer celebration.

Bottle at Chez Moeder Lambic Fontainas as part of my Pre-Wedding Celebrations. It pours golden-orange, with a decent white head. The nose is surprisingly sweet - pear, apple, melon and nectarine, as well as wood, vinous notes and tartness. The taste is lemon, tart green apple, wood, white grape, red wine, eggy sourness and some residual soft fruit sweetness, with alcohol warmth in the finish. It starts of tart and balances out to slightly sweeter flavours. Great balance, a brilliant blended sour ale.

750ml bottle pours a hazy, dark yellow with one ring of white head. Nose is sweet, woody, bourbon, flowers, vegetables. Flavor is sweet, tart, lemons, orange rind, grapefruit, grass. Medium bodied, tart, lightly hot finish.

Thanks Brainlayer. Super hazy orange pour with a small white ring. Cantillon acetic funk with lots of nectar, bright sourness, and wood. Medium body with low carbonation. Quite a treat.

Big thanks to brainlayer for this one! Beautiful orange pour with a smallish head. Nose and flavor are marked by big vibrant fruity funk, subtle wood, yeasty dough, and a touch of musty sournness. Epic dry but nuanced palate. Balanced, drinkable, and beautifully complex.

Bottle shared by Brian Layer. Pours clear tawny with a small, bubbly off-white head, short retention with no lacing. Aroma is caramel and toast malt, vinous, oak, spicy alcohol, dates, and earthy hops. Flavor is alcohol, oak, vinous, lactic, dates, spices, and a dry finish. Medium body, warmth, and carbonation.

750mL thanks to BrainLayer. The pour is a hazy peach with a smaller white head. Fresh peach and apricot nose with lots of dusty yeast, Brett, and mild Cantillon funk. Taste brings tart yellow apples, richer body with some residual sugar, sharp and tangy Chardonnay barrel. Very interesting but not as good as Saison de la Senne. Would like to compare this to del Borgo Duchessic and Temptation.
