3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
A hazy orange colored beer, with a small white head. The aroma of bread, some sour with wood notes. The taste of some sour dough, fruits like apple. A little sticky. The aftertaste is some sour with notes of sweet and some bitter.

Interesting mix of two styles, but lambic dominates the taste heavily. Hints of sweetness but canít really taste the tripel in it.

really soft profile, light creamy lemon, wheat, and a slight banana. Small bubbled but well carbonated. Bit of dryness. Bit muted, some creaminess to the lemon and chardonnay. Need another try to form a good opinion.

Bottle. Hazed orange, frothy off-white head. Gueuze-ish nose, dry cheese, with some acidic apricot in the very finish. Very nice nose. Flavors a bit less sour than the aroma led on...but very nice gueuze flavors..a little plasticy note here and there, but not too distracting. Body may be a bit thinner than it should be, but maybe its not and thatís the interestingly high abv here and Iím just confused. Very nice regardless.

Hazy golden yellow with relatively nice head for a wild ale. Wow. A great aroma with a little lactic character. A very similar body thats amazing. The sourness lingers and the horse blanket gets a little stronger with each sip.

This one was brought in by my good friend Phil (The Ferm) from www.dosbeerigos.com to a recent tasting. I was told that this was pretty rare and it was a sour. Since Iím down for both sours and rare beers I was pretty excited to try it. Like a lot of the sours that I had that day this one held a lot of good fruit qualities and tartness. The thing that Iím finding out the most about sours are that even if the carbonation is high or low it still delivers a good punch of flavor. Whereas if you get a big Imperial stout, such as the double barrel aged Marshal Zukhov stout from Cigar City, the carbonation is really low and the flavors might not jump out at you right away, I know it didnít for me. This beer warmed me up to the pit of my stomach, literally. I sipped it and felt a burning sensation to the pit of my stomach. Nothing super intense, but just enough to say "Wake Up you wimp!!".
Really enjoyed this beer, simply put.

Pours a somewhat darker golden with very little head, this is 5 years old? Aroma is full, some oxidized malt, bit musty, some fruit. Peach and apricot skin in flavor, light caramel, clean lactic sour, some breadiness. Mouthfeel is lightly sticky and full with soft carbonation.

Thanks Brainlayer. Super hazy orange pour with a small white ring. Cantillon acetic funk with lots of nectar, bright sourness, and wood. Medium body with low carbonation. Quite a treat.

Big thanks to brainlayer for this one! Beautiful orange pour with a smallish head. Nose and flavor are marked by big vibrant fruity funk, subtle wood, yeasty dough, and a touch of musty sournness. Epic dry but nuanced palate. Balanced, drinkable, and beautifully complex.
