A nice standard Belgian beer. Nothing to get excited about but a good session beer. Big drawback is the aroma. not much going on there. Light fruit (white grape, peach) but very faint. Pour was cloudy orange with tons of sediment 9which always gets a 4 in appearance for me!) Taste was nice and subdued. Light fruits for the most part with just a hint of Belgian yeast bite. not very full flavored, but this is a session beer at 5.5%. Decent carbonation. Ok beer.
1.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20 hophop (24) - SCOTLAND - DEC 13, 2011
Golden ale with a lot of haze. Aroma is fruity and slightly hoppy - very inviting. Something wrong in the flavour - a kind of phenloic detergent taste - not good. Down the drain I’m afraid.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Styles (2014) - Lincoln Park, Michigan, USA - DEC 6, 2011
hazy golden, white frothy head, nice lacing. Aroma has some funk up front, musty, light fruity esters, very yeasty. Flavor much the same, yeasty, grainy cereal, light fruit. Mouthfeel is very chalky, hard to get past.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 BelgaBart (51) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM, BELGIUM - NOV 15, 2011
Go this from ’De Biertempel’ in Brussels. The smell was amazing, hops, citrus, orange, hints of caramel. Taste : first hits the hops and the biterness from it and it kinda stays all the time. After the hoppyness you can taste the orange again, it’s very pleasant. This is a very summer beer, not very complex, but not bad. The only problem i have is that the texture of the beer is kinda oily and i don’t think a beer should be like that.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 prawlie (566) - Berkshire, ENGLAND - NOV 3, 2011
33 cL bottle from ABS Drinks in Winksele, poured into a Westmalle glass at home. Nice creamy head over a lively gassed orange beer. The head disappers quickly though. Smells yeasty, spiced and citrus, its quite nice on the nose. Yeasty and dry hopped. Its alright but it could do with another flavour or two to add balance.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 JanLaursen (1118) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - OCT 31, 2011
Bottle, 33 cl: Cloudy, golden beer with a rocky off-white heady. Aroma is hoppy and caramel-malty. Notes of oranges and lemon. Taste is medium sweet with some caramel and butterscotch-notes. Heavy bitterness form the hops with light tartness beneath makes this a quite complex palate. Medium in body, oily in texture and softly carbonated. Finish is long, slightly astringent, dry and bitter. More hoppy than your average Belgian blonde.
