4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle (5,8% ABV). A hazy dark blonde beer with an average sized, frothy, mostly lasting white head. The aroma is lightly to moderately malty, moderately hoppy, lightly yeasty. There are notes of bread, flowers, herbs. lemon, orange, pepper and tropical fruits. The flavour is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately sour, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, slick texture, lively carbonation, dry and very long finish with medium bitterness. Delicious, clean and hugely quaffable. One of the most consistent breweries in Belgium.

Bottle at bar the Hopduvel. Light orange, small head but holds ok. Smell is citrus, spices, hops. To watery taste, but what I taste is good. Spices, citurs, some sweetness, caramel, morderated biterness at the end.

Slightly hazy golden colour with a frothy white head. Classic Belgian ale on the nose with the yeast, citrus and spices. Mild sour flavour of dry fruits, wheat, vinegar. Medium bodied with a bit watery mouthfeel. Soft carbonation. Overall a easy-to-drink Belgian ale.

Bottle @ some Cafe in Brussels, near the EU Commision HQ. :-) Hazy orange body, small white head. Nose is fruity hops, yeasty tones and pale malts. Taste is smooth, with pale malts and hints of yeast and grassy hops. Slightly bitter finish. Overall not exactly a treat, but an OK blonde Belgian ale.

Live rating. Bottle at CASK Pub & Kitchen on 10 Sept 2010 hazy gold whitish foam. Cheesy yeasty notes in aroma, then fruity in-mouth with plenty of mild ginger and spice. Touch of smoke. Citric touches towards a bittersweet end, on a zingy mouthfeel.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
33 cl bottle and close to it’s best before date. Thin white head, hazy orange beer. Aroma is malt with some hop notes. Tastes a bit odd, but not in an unpleasant way. Love the spiciness running through this dry and hoppy beer. Very tasteful beer for 5.5 ABV.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
From a bottle at Cafe Amsterdam. Hazy and opaque with affirm thin head. Spicy and fruity at the same time, this drinks with a funky farmhouse appeal and a slight acidic bite. Bring me some creamy cheese! (#3956, 8/1/2010)

On tap at Novare Res in tulip. Orange with small head and lace. Orange lifesaver sweet yeasty aroma. Orange lifesavers sugary sweetness with fairly clean spicy bitter hop finish. Slightly cloying. A little sticky for abv. Pretty decent.
