3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap. Pours dark brown with red tint and thin, fizzy beige head; short retention and spare lacing. Aroma cookie and caramel malts, spice, brown sugar, figs, and faint grassy hops. Flavor is malt forward with light hops and fruit esters; dry, semi-sweet finish. Light body and warmth with light/medium carbonation.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at TND. Palate was wasted by the previous beer, so my rating is probably inaccurate. Pours light golden blond, white head. Belgian yeast, floral. Dry light sweetness and mild bitterness. Very light tasting. Could have used a bit more flavor in my opinion.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours gold, persistant thin foam head.
Some bad burnt rubber notes cover up the fruitiness and citrus driven aromatic profile, what a pitty.
Mouth is very nice despite a lack of depth. Creamy finish with a well balanced bitterness.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured this one from the bottle into a tulip glass...very light head and a nice light orange colored body. Not so much aroma as most say. On first sip, it seems somewhat hop forward with some citrus and then turns into a normal belgian ale. Nice because it is not too sweet like a blonde. I really like it and this is one where someone could easily have several.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: MAY 28, 2012 In bottle at the 2012 NWAF, Manchester. Pours a yellow colour with a decent white head. Aroma of lemon, white pepper, yeast and caramel. Similar flavours and nicely bitter with citrus zest also. Moderate carbonation and an oily mouth-feel. Delicious! Also had this on draught at Chez Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Poured a slightly hazy golden colour with a decent white head. Aroma of lemon, pine, caramel, banana and cloves. Similar flavours with a bitter grassy hop finish. Moderate carbonation and a chewy mouth-feel. Alcohol is well balanced with lovely lingering bitterness. Very nice.
