UPDATED: MAY 31, 2012 Tap at Moeder Fontainas. A pale yellow beer with a white head. Aroa is fresh, with citrus hops. Taste is initially spicy, before a long bitter citrus hop feel bursts through. Lengthy finish. Highly drinkable and a sensibly lowish alcohol content means you can actually drink it. Very good pale ale with Belgian characteristics.

UPDATED: JUN 18, 2012 Glowing orange body, fierce, small bubbly white head. Fragrant Belgian, but modern aroma, orange peel, sharp grassy hops, juniper berries, fresh yeast. Sharp tasty bitter base with light fruity hints at the start. Medium carbonation. But very drinkable and lots of taste for this (especially for Belgians) modest abv. Very classy brew. (33cl bottle)

Bottle 33cl, a cloudy golden beer with good head. Nose is very lemony and hopy, aroma is grassy, lemony, bitter, grapefruit notes, malt side is medium to low. Very bitter but body is low just hops is showing there, good but not exceptional.

330 ml bottle at beerbistro. Pours an opaque, cloudy, dull burnt orange with small slightly off-white head. Aroma is mild spicy/yeasty tropical fruit. Flavour is tropical fruit, pepper and a light floral note. Moderate bitterness in finish. Decent.

@ goudblommeke in papier. Very nice brew! hazy color, white foam. Low in alcohol but a very good taste. Bitter, not sweet.

Tap. Pours dark brown with red tint and thin, fizzy beige head; short retention and spare lacing. Aroma cookie and caramel malts, spice, brown sugar, figs, and faint grassy hops. Flavor is malt forward with light hops and fruit esters; dry, semi-sweet finish. Light body and warmth with light/medium carbonation.

On tap at TND. Palate was wasted by the previous beer, so my rating is probably inaccurate. Pours light golden blond, white head. Belgian yeast, floral. Dry light sweetness and mild bitterness. Very light tasting. Could have used a bit more flavor in my opinion.

Pours gold, persistant thin foam head. Some bad burnt rubber notes cover up the fruitiness and citrus driven aromatic profile, what a pitty. Mouth is very nice despite a lack of depth. Creamy finish with a well balanced bitterness.
