Bottled sample consumed at ’t Brugs Beertje. Blond in colour with strong carbonation. Aromas are of pale malts, earhty spices and a hint of tropical fruit. Quite ginger spicy in the mouthl with additional notes of dry wood and dry pale malts. Light bodied and very refreshing. I really enjoyed the ginger-ness of this one.

33cl Bottle from Cracked Kettle. Markings indicate Best before June 2010. Very ’saison’/farmhouse ale aroma of earthy straw and grassy (as in a field of wild grass, not like clippings or anything - really wonderful) yeast. Taste is slight mineral-ness and a floral hoppiness that isn’t that pronounced at all in the nose, but is really well done with the high carbonation. A little peppery yeast in the dry (dry like it was never there, but you wish it would be some more) bitter finish, which shows a touch of oily sweetness as it warms. Awesome easy-drinking, every-day beer. Jealous of the folks that can make it that.
