33 cl bottle. Deep cloudy golden beer with a thick creamy head. Lovely soft spicy aroma. A little bit of perfumey/cologne and a lovely soft caramelly character behind it. Fairly hoppy with a nice herbal/spicy component. Some light bubble gum and a dusty/earthy yeastiness. Moderate bitterness but a lingering spicy/herbal hop flavour. Some light peachy fruit and a touch of pepper towards the back. Quite a nice brew really.

Pours a pale golden with a medium white head and lots of sediment, some lacing. Aroma is medium sweet, grassy, yeast an hay. Flavor is lightly sweet, grassy, yeast, some hay and a nit floral. Low carbonation with a light body. Silky smooth texture. Finishes long and somewhat grainy.

Bottle. Very enjoyable blonde ale. Crisp and refreshing with the right amount of bubbly. Nicely lemony and slightly grassy. Yeasty with the right amount of some sweet malt.

UPDATED: APR 3, 2006 75 cl bottle. Hazy golden with a healthy head. Aroma cries out grass and hay with a hint of coriander and is rather sweet with the usual Belgian blonde yeastiness. Flavour is very sweet, but good hoppiness makes for a dry, slightly sour finish. Slightly oily texture, well carbonated. A very pleasant beer. This (re-)rating is for the Crianza version of it, grouped together here.

Sweet malty aroma. Pours blond with champagne like bulbs. Sweet malt flavor, with a good hop bite, and a little spice, with a dry finish.

Hazy golden orange with a large, fluffy white head. Sharp, fruity aroma of oranges, wheat, lemon zest, candy sugar, honey, coriander, some fruity esters and a hint of tropical fruit. The body is somewhat thin with a strong, biting carbonation. It’s a weird combination, thin but biting. The flavors start sweet, heavy on the honey, sugar and mild citrus fruit. A surprisingly nice, crisp bitterness comes out at the end that seems to be attributable to the hops and carried by the lively bubbles. While it’s not terrible, this is missing a little variation and depth that keeps it from being it’s potential.
