Dull, hazy orange; yellow-tinted large head, collapsing. Cooked carrots, vanilla, parsley and caramel in the nose. Bitter-woody taste, pine flavour intertwined, overlying very malty basic beer. Fruity impressions, and some flowery hops. Medium to well-bodied. Some creamy feeling from the yeast, some burning. Not bad at all. Nothing truly outstanding, but a pleasing beer. Lost a point on the yeast being a bit too omnipresent.

Bottled, 2000 vintage. Cloudy orange. Toffee aroma. Yeasty and lightly vinous. Soft and mild with intense, flowery bitter finish.
