4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle 33cl. Opaque dark chestnut brown, one finger frothy beige head, recedes after a while to a thick layer, fair lacing; complex aroma of sweet malts, dark fruit (raisin, date), yeasty, lemon/lime, orange peel, light licorice note (zoete drop); taste moderate sweet, slightly bitter, with light fruity sweet and sour impressions in the background; full body, oily to creamy texture, velvet-like mouthfeel, soft carbonation; finish mild bittersweet, bit roasty, fruity undertones. Very interesting and very nice and very tasty beer.

Bottle 33cl. Dark brown with a sturdy caramel coloured top. Aroma is a bit sweet, but fades quickly. Taste has bitterness and Co2. A sharp metallic taste is also present which puts me off somewhat. Not bad though.

Black Triple :D Stout/Guiness-like. Dry, belgium. Interesting combinations. Cherries and white chocolate, sweet. Most of the time i don’t like sweet dark beers, but somehow i seem to really enjoy this!
