JanEric (167), Meppel, Netherlands Aug 18, 2009 Updated: Oct 24, 200918-8-2009:Dark amber coloured, creamy darkwhite head, sweet aroma. Tastes bitter, alcohol is dominating, not a good thirstquencher. In palate hints of rasins and coriander (?). Moderate, a bit too strong, not too good balanced.
14-10-2009: Another bottle. This time it’s more my style. Nicely bitter, long finish. I taste figs, herbs, a bit of cacao. This is nice

Grand Tasting @ The Harlequin, Sheffield.
Pours amber with a nice, creamy, beige head. Aroma has sweet caramel, some thyme and coriander. Good, dry mouthfeel, medium carbonation. Great caramel base, some yeast and coriander. Nice spiced BSA. mbuisman79 (134), Amsterdam, Netherlands May 5, 2009 the smell of the beer promises more than what you eventually get. I smell chocolate, strawberries, banana and more in the beautiful foam top.
it’s a very warming beer. Takes a minute before the effect of a sip has stopped. Alcohol kicks in later and keeps you warm inside.
De Leckere is turning into one of my favorite Dutch breweries. NoiZe (1289), Mooi Zeist, Netherlands Apr 1, 2009 Amber, brown colored brew. Malty, roasted, sweet aroma. Flavor is roasted malts, sweetness, licorice, coffee. Dickinsonbeer (3434), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA Mar 26, 2009 De Leckere Winterbier. Pours a slight haze- woody amber with a thin yet lasting head. Aroma is fruity esters upfront, raisin, apple, and pear, slight orange zest- caramel malts, toasty, almond and phenolic Belgian character. Fruity, phenolic, esters, light alcohol presence, sweet brown sugar, candi sugar, caramel malts, hints of fruity special B. Ok body and a smooth finish.
