(Bottled) Hazy darkish amber color with a small, quickly fading head. Toffee-grainy-malty, slightly unclean, but not that bad aroma with some malt liquourish feel. Toffee-malty, grainy and slightly, but surprisingly mildly alcoholic flavor with some vegetable off-flavors. Medium to full-bodied palate with medium carbonation. You’d better keep the yeast off the glass with this one! This is not hopeless overall - it would make a great malt liquour, but as a Belgian Strong Ale it really can’t fight back. I think I’m done with this brewery now... the good thing is, that all their beers seem to be organic.

Dark golden coloured and clear. Has a white head, mostly lasting. Aroma is malty, lactic acid, faint laqurice. Sweet flavor, nice creamy, long duration, moderate bitter finish. Soft carbonation.

30 cl. bottle @ home. Pours cloudy amber with a thin off-white head. Some sediment from the bottle is also floating in the glass. Aroma of yeast, caramel and raisins. Taste is bittersweet with some slightly burnt roasted malts. Overall it has potential but somehow it tastes rushed and not as good as it can be.

Cloudy murky red brown beer with small beige head. Aroma is black fruit, raisins, licorice and some caramel. Taste is sweet at first, with overripe fruits, then ends somewhat bitter. Alcohol is noticable, but not disturbing.

Bottled from Burg bieren, Ermelo. Amber colored, small off-white head. Fruity nose, caramel, raisins, malts. Very sweet flavor, raisins again, honey, quite complex. Sweet sticky finish. Alcohol is well hidden. Too sticky and sweet to be really good, but one glass is certainly enjoyable, and i suspect it does have aging potential.

300 ml bottle a red brown colored beer with a white head aroma malts spicy fruits citrus hops and caramel flavor malts spicy fruits caramel and some hops

Pours copper with a beige head. Aroma is roasted caramel, alcohol, light grass and dried fruit. Flavour is roasted caramel, heavy alcohol and dried fruit.
