Gedronken @ biergilde hoorn. Donker bier met weinig en dun schuim. In de geur zoethout en cacao.

Bottle @ De Veldkeuken, Amelisweerd. Dark brown colour, beige foam disappears quickly. Sweet, caramel and very watery, medium carbonation. Too weak.

Robijnrood/bruin. Mooi. Ruikt zoet, enorm (te) veel karamel. Veel carbo, beetje caramel, verder niet speciaal maar wel prima.

Fine double Brown beer. Missing some sweet tones though. Nice regional beer

Een dubbel met een kastanjebruine kleur en weinig schuim. De smaak is die van geroosterd mout en karamel. Dit komt ook terug in ’t aroma. Ook is er hout te herkennen in het palet.

Pours nice dark brown. So far the positive side... The rest is not bad, don’t get me wrond, but lacks all that is claimed - especially the wood character. Maybe they used too little wood chips... The body is medium, the character unpronounced, disapointing.

Drank with Rik in Malden while playing Machiavelli 21-11. Okay double, not very rich taste, but not bad.

25 cl bottle at home. Pours hazy, dark-brown with low, tan head. Aroma: really malty with notes of smoked malt, plum. Taste: medium sweetness with medium bitterness in the end. Notes of plum and coffee. Texture is thin. Carbonation is average.

25 cl bottle. Pours dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, raisins, chocolate, plums, light buttery note. Taste is similar, second De Leckere beer in a row that feels a bit too thin. Sweet aftertaste, medium carbonation.
