UPDATED: JUL 20, 2009 Great Belgian White! Has improved a lot over the years. Citrus lemon aroma. Cloudy, honey color, white frothy head. Light sweet, light citrus, very refreshing, moderate full. Bit watery finish with pear flavors. This beer could use a little more body but is very nice already.

Bottle: Small white head on top of a hazy yellow golden colored beer. Smell wheat, malts, lemon, hints of hops, spices and light sour. Taste is a mix of lemon, citrus, wheat, light sweets, light sour, malts, hops, spices. Low body, medium carbo, tingly mouthfeel and a watery texture.

Hazy golden body, white head. Aroma has wheat and malts, some yeast and sourness as well. In some occasions it would be nice, but not in this. Quite poor wit.

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. A clear, golden beer topped by a small, white head. Cellar, fruit-syrup and some citrus on the nose. The flavor is pretty much the same, some bitterness shows up towards the finish. Medium body with nice carbonation level. A decent beer, drinkable indeed, but not my favorite. 100410

Bottle at home. Pours a veyr pale yellow color with almost no head, not very appealing. Aroma of vague malts and honey with some sharp unpleasant stingy something that I can’t place. Very watery sweet flavor with some egg, honey, old beer and more water. Quite disgusting. Terrible beer.

rosenbergh (3486) - Helsinki, FINLAND - SEP 26, 2009
UPDATED: SEP 27, 2009 275 ml bottle. From Valkenswaard, the Netherlands. BBE April 2009. Hazy light brown colour with small white head. Fruity yeasty sour aroma with buttery notes. Sour apple, malt, yeast and wheat in flavour. Not very good Witbier. But hey, it’s organic.

A nice taco beer. Still remains the strength of a good white beer and I have to admit I like the ’ fancy’ twistcap. Found this at an Albert Heyn supermarket.

bottle with thanks to MoritzF! Hazy golden colour, small head, fruity-sour nose. Malty with very shy wheaty hints, very fruity with a pleasant sourness. Refreshing but rather unusual for the style.

ottled from AH in Mestreech. Color is hazy dark amber, with a small off-white head. Nose is sour. Aroma is butter, soft malty. Flavour is sweet-sour soft. Body is a it watery, killing the palate. Complex taste, difficult to analyze.
