2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle from Bert’s Bierhuis in Utrecht. The beer is pale yellow colored and has a stable white head, with nice carbonation.
The aroma is malty, with tones of citrus, grass, fresh hops and spices.
The taste is light sweet with malt and citrus notes, and ends bitter with tones of grass, hops and spices, just like the aroma.
The finish is light bitter, refreshing and a little dry.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
The beer looks like a normal pilsener. The color of the beer is perfectly golden yellow, and the beer is crystal clear. The beer pours a small layer of white rough foam. The bulk collapses, but almost nothing remains on top of the beer. The smell is better than most pilseners. There is a nice hoppy touch to it. It’s nice and fresh. There is a minimal touch of bready malts. It’s quite refreshing. The taste has a nice bitterness. I taste quite a few hops. It’s more tasteful than a plain factory pilsener. This is nice however.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle at home, bought at Hema in the centre. Pale golden with a very light haze, white head and active lacing which looks nice in the glass. Light sweet malts, white bread, grain. Light sweet and quite bitter hopped. Thin supple body, gelly grain thickness in the mouthfeel and the carbonation is about average for the style. Refreshing and crisp pilsner.

Uit de fles gedronken dus kan niks zinnigs zeggen over het uiterlijk en aroma. Vond het wel een lekker pilsje, zal nog eens re-raten als ik ’m uit een glas drink.

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 10/20
As De Leckere Premium Organic Pilsener, with the new style De Leckere label in blue and black. Thinly lacing, moussy, dense, snow white head over a clear, pale golden blonde coloured beer with somewhat greenish hue and quite lively sparkling. Aroma of field flowers, sugared lemon, sourdough, wet hay, red apple, flour, raw celery, honey. Crisp, clean onset, sweetish and sourish but not very fruity and both remain restrained, medium carbo, grainy, supple and thin body, bit minerally, light bready accent in the middle, leading to a finish of somewhat resiny, floral, bit spicy hop bitterness, quite ’noble’ as, indeed, in a classic German Pilsener, and of medium duration, drying the throat a bit without bittering thoroughly. Could do with a bit fuller bready malt sweetness perhaps as in this shape and form, it comes across as a bit thin and very grainy like many more industrial lagers which became bothersome in the end, but the hop profile is decent and this is clearly to be recommended over your average standard pale lager.
