30 cl bottle Appearance: Hazy Light blond with a 1,5 figer sized white head, poor retention, but leaving light lacing. Aroma: caramelised,Malts, hay, yeast, citrus quite some stuff going on but it’s faint and to compressed to make a good distinction. Taste: Fruity Sweet with some grainy hints, and spices, with a bit of light citrus sourness in te finish. no real bitterness thin, body , average carbonation. Something between a light triple and a weizen. The problem it just doesn’t work. If they had this taste with lower ABV Then this would be an excellent brew for a summer it has taste, it’s refreshing and it’s good drinkable but in it’s current form it has 7.5% ABV. which is a bit too high I think. But it now lacks the punch of most other tripels.

Bottle. Light golden, hazy, small and fully diminishing head. Moderate, malty – some wheat and sugary sweetish aroma, some caramel and light fruitiness with light yeast. Body is medium, malty – some wheat and sugary sweetish flavor, some caramel and light fruitiness. Finish is short to average, malty – lightly wheaty and sweetish, light caramel and faint fruitiness, faint alcohol and light yeast. Sugary sweetish tripel – too sweet for me.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes goldenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, malzig süß, fruchtig, leicht alkoholisch. Geschmack hefig, malzig süß, fruchtig, Gewürze.

Bottle. Pours a slighly hazy blonde with a quickly slinking white head. Not much of a pronounced palate but damn that aftertaste is sweet, almost sticky. Enjoyed it.

Lichtblond, goede plakkerige kraag. Muffig aroma van gist, vaag fruit. Smaakt idem met wat metaalsmaak, redelijk mondgevoel maar een saai bier.

Local beer, brewed in De Meern. I had expected a bit more. A bit bland taste for a triple, without the aroma and mix of bitter, sour and sweet that I like in a quality triple. This is an easy beer though, which goes well with a good meal or some cheese.

Een lokaal Utrechts bier. Drinkt lekker makkelijk. Geen heel erg uitgesproken smaak. Wel lekker.

Bottled from local organic supermarket. Hazy golden colored, lasting white head. Nose of citrus, some spices, some hop. Fruity flavor, lemon, spices again, some bitterness and even some sourness, more dry in finish. Nothing spectacular, but certainly not bad.

UPDATED: AUG 17, 2014 30cl bottle @ home. Clear to cloudy yellow golden color, white small fully diminishing no lacing head. Aroma citrus, caramel, honey, slightly hoppy, alcohol is present. Taste medium sweetness, light bitterness, light fruity sourness. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation, sweet- light bitter finish. Refreshing, easy to drink, OK with a dinner of after that, just a bit too much alcohol flavor.

30cl bottle at home. Hazy orange with a medium white head. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Sweet with some bitter notes. Citrus, tangerine, grass, herbs and some peach. A decent refreshing tripel.
