On the tap in Pothuiske in Mestreech. Amber colour, thick hard off-white head. Aroma is fruity sweet caramel. Flavour is lthe same with yeast tones. Could use some more body. As the other guys said good start, weak finish.

Stale offering from this Utrecht beer. Clear amber with a decent head and average body. Brown sugared sweetness, but no flavor in this beer steps forward to support a memorable character. Tried at the Nederlandse Bierweek openingsfestival with Paul, Dave, and Erol.

Slightly hazy dark amber with a nice white head. It’s not what I was hoping for. Label says there’s citrus hops in there, but although there is some hop bitterness, there’s nothing citrus about it. Some sweet malts in there as well (distant honey flavour) Not very special, just ok.

On tap at ’t Arendsnest in Amsterdam. Nice cloudy chocolate brown in colour with a medium head. Aroma of honey with a hint of spice. Taste is slightly hoppier than I was expecting, caramel and malt with a bitter aftertaste. Not a huge amount of character.
