Poured hazy orange with a healthy white head. Aroma of sweet citrus and caramel malt, some lactose. Medium body, flavour is slightly too sweet, short, sweet end.

(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 25 July 2013) Hazy golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, malty nose with dried fruit, citrus, tropical fruit and coriander. Malty, fruity taste with notes of dried fruit, pineapple, orange and gentle floral bitterness in a fairly sweet finish. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Quite nice.

Bottle 300 ml, at home. Poured into a tulip. ABV is 8%. Beer is made with organically grown ingredients. Light orange colour, with a very thin white head, less than one finger in height. Very short retention. No activity in the glass except for some bits and pieces floating around in the beer’s body. Aroma is fruits, mostly apricot, and yeast. Quite subtle. Some sugars and alcohol too. Taste is sweet up front, with fruits again and some yeasty notes, becomes slighty bitter at the very end, just once you think there is no aftertaste on this one. Nothing to be excited about though. Thin (for a tripel) to medium body, average carbonation. An average for this style.

Somwhat hazy very light orange body with nice white lace. Standard ligth malty body, white bread yeasty, apple. All very straightforward. Very light herbal note is the best I can make out. Taste is more bitter than expected, bit herbal here but also some vegetable. Ending is quite harsh for such a moderate Belgian ale. An accessible but very boring brew. (30cl bottle from Eko Plaza)

75 cl. bottle shared with Jan-Willem @ home. Gift from Niek. Golden with a thine white head. Grainy yeasty aroma. Yeasty taste with a very sweet touch. Sweet aftertaste. Nice but one dimensional.

Bottle at Locus Publicus, Rotterdam
Hazy golden color, compact head. Some aroma of malt and sauerkraut, lightly cheesy. The malt flavor is reasonably good, it has a strange Parmesan touch; correct bitterness, light spicy character.
Not too bad.

Somewhat hazy golden yellow with small white foam head, lacing to glass. Aroma is malty, no sweet present. Taste is nice bitter hoppy. Aftertaste is dry, short, little bitter. (Velp 201210)

Bottle. Pours slightly hazy orange with a small, white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, light banana, marzipan, orange. Taste begins sweet, light banana, light malt, marzipan. Turns bitter and unpleasant lemon peel in the middle with a large dose of ethanol. Palate is full and soft. A bit too simplistic this one.
