Countbeer (1943) - Best of Eindhoven ohne Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - FEB 20, 2012
Bottle: Medium pretty vast off white yellow ish creamy head on top of a darker red brown beer with a ruby shine. Smell toasted barleys, toasted malts, roosvicee, caramel, light raisiny and just some hints of cherry candy brown sugar sweetness. Taste toasted sweet barleys, some rose hip, hint of sweet grains/hay, herbs and some fruit hints like cherry, raisin, strawberry and prunes. Some sweets but well balanced and thus not too sweet and the same amount of bitterness. Herby light toasted barley red fruit light sweet aftertaste. Low to medium carbo, light spicy mouthfeel, medium (to lightly fuller) body and a watery texture. Finally a good beer from De Leckere!
