2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 DanielBrown (2718) - Birmingham (via Leicester), - MAR 6, 2005
Bottle from Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Hazy yellow, with a slight melon, in the sticky malt aroma. Big, sweet, ice cream and candy floss, with toffee sauce flavour. Over the top and sickly, though the finish shows some redemption. Dribbly mouthfeel. Under par, though I could do with trying it at a lower temp maybe.

Small, snowwhite head over fully hazy yellow beer. Dull-spicy nose, nothing in particular, dough, rootspices, citrussy and obvious wheat. Wheat, ultra-dry grain and lightstruck, overaged spices. Citrus with every new sip. CO² finishes having the most impact on the taste, save for the wheat. Light bodied, very spritzy. Bland wit.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 Benzai (2711) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - JUL 12, 2011
Not a very good whitebeer I would say. It’s easy to drink, but compared to the best whitebeers I’ve had so far, this one is just a simple average one. Nothing wrong, nothing special. Taste, rate, forget.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Maria (8579) - Thisted, DENMARK - MAY 8, 2011
It’s not really unclear, more rather hazy, and the head is white, creamy and lasting. The aroma has notes of wheat and yeast. The flavour is sweet with notes of coriander, yeast, wheat, and the finish is spicy. The overall-impression is a bit “tame”.
