It poors dark brown with a large white frofy head. It has a medium bitter taste with a sweet finish. From the aroma you would expect alot more flavor but it goes down nicely and easily. Enjoy!

Sampled from bottle thanks to Joes. Dark red to brown color, medium sized beige head. Smell malts, coffee and something weird. Taste malts, weirdness, iron, slightly herbs and spices. Really weird this one. Thin body, medium carbonation.

Bottle @ joes. Brown colour with some ruby effects, big beige head. Smells herbs, wood, malts, sweet, brown sugar, slightly roasty. Tastes mostly iron. Some raisins, sweet, brown sugar, red fruits - but these are hidden behind the big iron taste. Thin to medium body, quite a lot of carbo.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 fiulijn (12179) - Malmö, DENMARK - NOV 18, 2012
Bottle from Birratrovo, Como Very dark brown color, with giant head. There is a nice Belgian aroma, spicy, light milk and light caramel. The body is thinner than expected, there is some caramel flavor, with a very light fruity touch from the fermentation, and medium to low bitterness; some final oxidisation too. The aroma was the best part of it.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Swaroga (788) - Brussels, BELGIUM - OCT 31, 2012
33cl bottle. Hazy red and brown. Medium tanned and dirty head. Nose : yeast with toffee and tart. Some dried and cooked fruits. Strong clove. Wood notes. Sip : medium body, oily texture, decent carbonation. Sweet with dominating tart and dried fruits, very spicy and getting a bit dry and spicy on the end. Not bad. Bitter hops are there on the aftertaste but don’t play any important role.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 sebletitje (5415) - Enghien, BELGIUM - SEP 27, 2012
33cl bottle from Geers.

18/VIII/2012 33cl bottle from Dranken Geers (Oostakker) @ home - BB: n/a (2012-957)
Clear red brown to purple beer, aery beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: caramel, vanilla, some raisins, ripe figs, bit fruity, candi sugar, milk chocolate. MF: lots of carbon, medium body. Taste: sour start, pretty hoppy, citrus, earthy touch, bitter, fruity flavours, oranges, bit floral, caramel. Aftertaste: little bitter, citrus, orange peel, liquorish, some hops cancelling out any residu sweetness. Pretty refreshing, which is weird for a Christmas beer.
