COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cuvee Jeune Homme is an oak-aged bitter beer. Originally it had a slight citrus-bitterness due to its 4 hops and the subsequent dry hopping. It is acidified while it ripens for 4 months in oak wine casks. The daring bitter-sour combination is moderated by this ripening process and as a consequence it is a very pleasant drinking beer.
Ingredients: water, barley malt, sugar, hops, yeast. Re-fermented in bottle.

33cl bottle at home. Hazy orange with a small white head. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Quite sour with subtle sweet and bitter tones. Oak, vinegar, caramel and malts. Nice!

Obfita, biała piana, nieco mydlana, średnio trwała. Lekki gushing przy otwieraniu. Barwa żółto brunatna, nieładnie zmętniona. W aromacie kwaśne, niedojrzałe jasne winogrono, białe wino, porzeczki, agrest i intensywne cytrusy. Po ogrzaniu dochodzi stara beczka i niewielka piwnica. W smaku kwaśne, z delikatną cytrusową słodyczą, wytrawnym winem, octem jabłkowym i kiszonką w posmaku. Czuć też chmiele i delikatną, przyjemną goryczkę. Wysycenie średnie, drobne. Lekko mineralne, orzeźwiające, lekkie i pijalne w odbiorze.
To już reguła, że De Leite to klasa sama w sobie, przynajmniej w moim odczuciu - każde ich degustowane piwo jest złożone, bogate i niezwykle smaczne, w tym przypadku dodatkowo idealne na pragnienie i ciepło.

Bottle 33cl, a cloudy copper orange beer with low head. Nose is on wood, lambic like, sour. Taste is slightly sweet with intense sour background, aroma is less present than the nose, very lactic, still some wood there, diacetyl notes, light vinegar, very lambic like, good.

330ml bottle - thanks martjoobolut!
Honey sweet aroma, some popcorney butterscotch. Some lactic aspects. Taste is a mess, gluey woody aspects, apricoty. Full palate, smooth, moussey carbonation. Nice gold, tight frothy head. Pleasant sour bite, nicely woody, ends herbal - basilica. De Troch level of weirdness. But I kinda like bits of the ride. Late finish has a nice bitterness. Weirdorama, but quite fun. Need a bit more acidity in this.

UPDATED: JUN 25, 2016 Bottle shared by Mart. Clear golden amber beer, medium white head. Nose is a weird mix of herbs, gherkins, honey, dust, walnuts, mango, oak, sweetness and tart notes. Flavor is oak, tart notes, fruit, mild funk. Dry and tart finsh, wood, lactic notes. Smells way more interesting than it tastes.

BOTTLE 33 CL. Cloudy amber, creamy white head. Aroma of white grapes, white cherries, honey and white wine. Tart funky notes, that get more acetic with time. The taste is also quite a bit sour, more lactic at the beginning but more acetic/acetone in the end. The hefty pale malt sweetness cannot stand the sourness. Nutty/fruit stone bitterness in the after taste. Quite a bold sour, but the acetone is getting somewhat annoying at times.

Bottle at Neutnigenough in Brussels. Pours Amber gold with an off- white head. Aroma is mildly sour pale stone fruit. Near medium body. Flavor has an earthy, Brett, pedio thing, but rather smooth. Very nice
