Very good pink head, leaving lace over clear ruby beer. Smoked cherry nose. Not overpowering, but intriguing. Like old cherry skins on alcohol. Nice, dry, if not sour cherryflavour - but neither artificial. MF has a lipsmacking sourishness then, that is refreshing. Quite some (fruit?)slickness, grist; long fruity aftertaste. Very good non-lambic kriek. Misses maybe just a tad sourishness in order to appeal to greatness. Why not try, and recreate the Zottegemse Kriek from Crombé times...?

33cl bottle. Poured deep red color, thin pink head. Slight tart aroma cherries and some raspberry sweetness, wood. Inviting. Flavor has tartness, cherries, hint of marzipan. Tart, dry finish. Lovely kriek.

Bottle from JefVerstraete, thanks a bunch! Hazy, dirty reddish pour with a tiny head. Very fruit forwarded, cherries and cranberries. Light oak and leather with a pleasant tartness. Tasty stuff!

From draft at ZBF 15, poured a deep dark red colour with a thick Pink head. Lot of dark sweet cherries, slight notes of vinegar, light tart, acid, malts, spicy alcohol notice, oak, thick mouthfeel. Bit to hot for the style for me

Very nice kriek. Soureness of the kriek nicely in balance with a mild sweetness. The oak aging is definitely present in the flavour, but in a smooth way. Very nice.

Bottle, thanks SirLimpsalot. A bit hazy dark red with a small pink head. Sweet with cherries, berries, light oak and some minerals. Very easy to drink and with a low bitterness. Almost like a lemonade.

@ Eddan 15-2-14: Ganska trevlig men lite diskret doft. Smaken är trevlig syrlig med tydlig körsbär och en tydlig eftersmak av ekfat. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone ---- Soberness not garanteed!

0.33L bottle from Belgian e-shop Pours hazy dark red color with amber to red hue. Medium head, off white light pink, dissipates quickly, lacing. Aroma is tart(lactic), unripe fruits, berries, some good funky goodness, some wood(vanilla, cinnamon notes). I expect some good tartness and some salinity, considering the nose. Flavor is very similar, tartness is strong(with acetic acid notes) and beautiful, very dry, some oxidized overtones, wood. Soft carbonation, medium bodied. Amazing beer, the acidity is quite dominant but not too overpowering.
