33cl bottle, purchased at De Bierkoning, Amsterdam and poured on 12-Apr-2016. Very lively with lots of fizz. Hazy orange amber colour with a medium sized white head. Aroma of sweet fruit, citrus and yeast. Medium body. Taste of caramel, biscuit, spices and hops. A sweetish beer in the style of a Belgian pale ale.

Bottle at home. Pours a dark blonde with a large, pillowy white head. Nice aroma of spice and earthy hop. Sweet to taste with a bitter background. Juicy malt, rich mouthfeel and a long, dry finish. An above average blonde.

Pale copper poured, with a short-lived pale foamy head. Aroma is thyme and fruit, slightly sour. Vanilla, banana, apricot, thyme and coriander mix well for a surprisingly different taste with a smooth, clean, slightly spiced finish.

Pours unclear darker blonde / light amber. Ok foam. Scent is dry, malty, with overripe-fruity-yeast . Taste is surprisingly bitter, over a grainy back. High carbo. I don’t get any taste of ambermalts, accept maybe a hint in the aftertaste. OK beer, agreeable, but not above average

Rather strong farmhouse aroma. Down to earth beer. Wouldn’t call this amber as it says on the label. Overall rich and probably a good brew for blond lovers.

Strange that it is sold as an amber beer as the aroma and the taste is close to the season style. Only the colour of the beer is amber look-alike. Anyway, beer is good, don’t get me wrong, but not my type, so medium notes for the characteristics and a lower one for the overall. If you usually enjoy blond beer or season beer, it should be one worth the try.
