Owies nadaje specyficzny, prawie mydlany charakter. Wyraźne smaki i aromat podpowiada go jako świetne piwo do posiłku.

Clear light orange beer, creamy off-white head, little stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very sweet, lots of peaches, some candy. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: fruity start, citrus, grapefruit bitterness. Aftertaste: bitter and dry, grapefruit, fruity notes, some passion fruits, pineapple, little soapy. Nice bitter beer!

UPDATED: JUL 30, 2014 Tap sample@ZBF 2014-ZA. Pours a creamy vanilla yellow - palate proves even creamier and gentle. Sort of new wavish Belgian ale, going for a heavier-than-usual 3/4 Belgian, 1/4 foreign hopping of a rich pale malt base. Fruity characteristics drawn mainly from the malt: quince, summer orange blossom, chalky emanations of berries. Where it lacks some expressivity, it seems instead to consciously opt for gentle aromatics - the way maman would prefer. Liking how approachable De Leite is developing its range across East/West Flemish traditions...// rerate 06/2014 bottled: definitely easy drinking, with subtly balanced fruity yeast vs. dry&herbal hop profile (somewhat reminiscent of De Ranke). Lingering herbacious bitterness cushioned in soft malts.+0.1 // Rerate 07/2014: surprisingly, only 5 weeks later, maybe a different batch, this beer has developed very convincing, smooth natural brett and grapefruit rind notes I hadn’t noticed before...Mountainous head that keeps building. Constantly evolving beer, from blonde ale to fruity saison, a joy to sample every time.

At Zythos Beer Festival. Hazy golden/orange with a medium off-white head and good lacing. Aroma is herbal and floral along piney notes and caramel/malt. Taste is herbal and floral too, with a good malt backbone and lingering herbal finish. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Slightly dry. Good Belgian Ale. Decent drinkability despite being a tad heavy for the style.
