Flesje gedronken tijdens kerstborrel. Donker bruin met een flinke crème schuimkraag. Aroma en smaak noot achtig en aardse tonen. Tikkeltje dun qua mondgevoel wel een redelijke afdronk.

Dark amber body and stable and quite firm beige head. Quite creamy, nutty base and butterscotch. Well roasted taste but quite clean. Accessible but enough flavour. Better than expected. Decent. (On tap at PINT Bokbierfestival)

yngwie (13106) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAR 19, 2011
Bottle, 75cl corked, courtesy of fonefan. It pours an unclear, brown body and a small, off-white to beige head. Caramel, alcohol, dried fruits and a herbal touch in the aroma. Hints of licorice. The flavor has a fine blend of caramel, dried fruits and alcohol, some bitterness chimes in towards the end. It’s full-bodied and warming, slightly sticky. Lasting finish with caramel, alcohol and some licorice notes. Well, not in the league with the finest German doppelbocks, but it’s a fine beer anyway. 110319

Tranquillity (1405) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - NOV 6, 2010
Bottled. Dark but clear body, medium-sized white head. Aroma of candy, alcohol, smoke. Taste sharp, a bit alcoholic, but still quite good finish. However, the belgian ones have been better unfortunately.
