Courtesy of bierkoning, thanks Edo! Dark ruby color, small brownish head. Toasted malty, caramellish aroma - not very strong. Very crisp carbonation. Watery palate. Light caramelly flavor, light toasted malts. Does not feel like 8 %. A bit bland.

Bottled. Deep amberish brown colour with small off-white head. Aroma is mild roasted malts, yeast, and alcohol. Flavour is caramel malts, toffee and mild alcohol. Alcohol gives a burning feeling on the tongue though.

0.3l bottle brew 2007. Color is brown-red with nice light beige head. Some lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt and hops. Taste is bitter but it seems more from roasted malt then hops. Enjoyable beer.

2006 version: flowery maltaroma. Soapy flavor with caramel and some roasted malt. Disappointing flavor after the fine aroma

Bottled. Aroma of carbonation, caramel and hints of chocolat. Hazy, ruby color, beige creamy head, good lace. Light sweet, bit lactic, licorice, bit fruity, bitterness ok, light roasted, medium body. In between a bock and a dubbel. And in between the complexity of a Belgian Ale and straightforwardness of German beers.
