33 cl bottle at In ’t Kruisken (Lier). Pours pale amber. Head is off-white and very thick. Aroma is Danish cookies, orange, butter. In the mouth it feels wide, mouth-covering, slightly sour. Medium-lasting finish without much bitterness.

Anaranjada turbia. Aroma a naranja. Sabor malteado con bastante contrapunto de naranja y bastante equlibrio entre dulce y amarga. Buen cuerpo y sabor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma was hop flowers. Not much more I remember. Poured orange with a large lasting head. Taste had peach, candy, hops. Lots of carbo.

Clear yellow, big off-white lasting, lacing foam head. Light hoppy aroma, some floral notes. Quite sweet in taste, still no too much. (Velp 201509)

A gusher! Get the mop! Bottle with sell by ladder not clipped. Bottle was very full, in that small brewery, not got a bottling machine way. Having got some beer in the glass, it is now carbonationless, with a mouth feel like a nitro beer. The dominant flavour is honey and mildly pleasant and inoffensive. Damned by faint praise, and glad I didn’t have a carpet.

Typical pale colour, bit cloudy and awhite head. Some floral details from the hops. There’s some honey sweetness in the taste , next to some herbal and floral notes from the hops. Better than I expected.

Mooie oranje kleur met een volle kraag. Ruikt fruitig, honing, kruiden. Beetje zoetig. Smaakt zoetig, fruitig, stroop.

Donkergeel levendig bier met veel schuim. Smaak is zoet en krachtig, licht bitter hoppig, honing, citrus en anijs. Smaak blijft redelijk lang hangen. Erg goed wat mij betreft.

Draught at Novare Res, 5/17/15
Mostly clear, deep brassy-amber body is topped by a small white head with moderate to low retention.
I’d always wanted to try something from this brewery, but haven’t read anything overly outstanding about them, and after a few sniffs from the glass, I wasn’t feeling too optimistic. Sweetbreads, light cake icing and near-spoiled peaches, with some rustic earthiness all lead me to believe I was in for an underfermented journey...Granted, the alcohol wasn’t too apparent, nor were there any raw/fusel-like notes or horribly offensive esters (not a nose full of bubble gum/cotton candy), though the peachy notes were a bit off-putting....
And yes, sweet in flavor it certainly was, though there was something a touch endearing that somewhat saved the experience. Bready flavors and sweet honeyed malts combine with a zesty fruitiness (peaches, nectarines) but at the same time are almost balanced by a dry, earthy flavor that could either be hops or yeast phenols/acids. It gave the impression of an American trippel, being otherwise quite clean and rather simplistic. Citrus rinds, pineapple and sweet white dough persist on the end, with a bit of alcohol warmth. Fine. Was expecting a lot worse based on the aroma. Not syrupy nor underfermented, despite the high level of maltiness.
