Amber coloured beer, I was expecting it to be more blonde because it’s a tripel. Spicy and a bit malty aroma. Sweet and malty flavour. (Bottle 33cl)

33cl from Willems en Zoon.

Countbeer (5503) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - MAR 9, 2012
Bottle: Remember I drunk one in Malmedy many years ago and more recently had a bottle at home. Hazy darker yellow to orange colored beer with a medium airy but vast white head. Smell some fruits, wheat, hops, soap, some slight notes of something herby/spicy and some light sweet notes. Taste is a mix of light yeasty fruit notes like orange, abricot and apple, malts and barleys, some hops and light spicy most likely from the alcohol. Light to medium bitterness. Light hoppy fruity light bitter spicy light warm aftertaste. Medium carbo, soft tingly mouthfeel, medium body and a light creamy texture. One of the many beers in this genre which is nothing exciting about, though it’s decent. I dig the name of this beer!

Gusher. Hazy golden colored pour. Small white head that quickly falls to nothing. No lacing. Boozy aroma of malt and sugar. Malty taste with a slight bitterness. Sugary sweet at times and a little boozy on the back.
