3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
(Bottled) Hazy golden with a large, foamy head. Quite acidic, pale-malty aroma with honey and fruit hints. Vegetably-malty flavor with some apple fruitiness and hints of caramel, metal and alcohol. Yeast is in big flakes, so it doesn’t really make the flavor smoother, until you pour in the very last drops. Medium body with clearly present alcohol and reasonably soft carbonation. A simple and quite alcoholic triple.

2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Tap @ ZBF 2009.
Pours lightly hazy golden with a big, beautiful, creamy, white head. Aroma is lightly tart, some apples, yeast and malts. Highish carbonation, okay mouthfeel; slightly oily. Flavour though, has far too much alcohol. There is a little malts and green apple, but it almost burns my throat. Not good.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: SEP 4, 2009 Cask at The New Oxford in Salford. Cloudy yellowy gold with a decent fluffy white head. Sweet and fresh tasting. Notes once again for me are terrible as I was very drunk. Enjoyed it though, very nice.
Re=rate - not as nice on second (more sober tasting). Ok but lowered the numbers.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: SEP 30, 2008 Draught Orange beer with slight haze under yellowish head, leaving rings of lace. Citrussy, little point of whtie sugar and just a little spiciness, and a whiff of liqueurish, sweetish alcohol. Sweet, very liqueurish flavour, and despite the quite sweet taste, pretty well-attenuated. Apricots flavour, warming up markedly almondy. Bit spritzy, dry, medium body. Nice variation on the Serafijn tripel (mainly different malts), fairly sweet, but inviting.
